Instrument Repair

  We offer all repair options for string instruments including but not limited to: 

• Bass bar repair

• Cracks and Seams

• Neck Reset

• Sound post Adjustment

• String Replacement

• New Fittings (pegs, chinrest, tailpiece)

• Nut, Saddle, Bridge, Fingerboard replacement

• Fingerboard resurfacing and Replacement

• Instrument Re-voicing

Pricing are determined on a case by case basis depending on part availability and condition of instrument.  We offer free estimate on repairs.  

Bow Re-hair

Our current charge is $60 per bow. We use only Mongolian Stallion horse hair for our bow re-hair process. If you would like any other type, there will be a price adjustment. If you are a college or public school orchestra student you get a 10% discount.

Custom Made Instrument

Our custom made instruments are hand crafted by in shop luthier and owner Greg Marsee.  If you are considering a custom made violin or viola, please contact the shop to discuss the process and cost.
